Friday Finds under $50
I look at life as one big science experiment. I’m constantly trying different items to see what works for me and what doesn’t. This is where “Friday Finds” comes in. I love sharing what I’ve learned as well as products that help make life a little easier, a little simpler, and a lot more joyful.

SILVEX WOUND GEL
This right here is hands down one of my favorite toiletry/first aid items. Instead of using Neosporin, which is petroleum based and contains neomycin (which is a top skin irritant/allergen. Don’t take my word for it. Do your research on why doctors don’t recommend Neosporin anymore as well as the health concerns with petroleum products here in the US). I use this gel and it’s amazing. Pimples, cuts, burns, etc- this works amazing for my family and I. Speaking of pimples and breakouts…
MIGHTY PATCH: Micropoint
These are great for those stubborn pimples that are “below the surface”. I use these patches on the monsters that you can feel brewing under your skin and between this and the Silvex, it stops it in its tracks. I wash my face, apply the silvex gel to the affected area, and then once dry, I apply the micropoint patch before bed.
Mighty Patch: The Original
These are constantly in stock in each of our bathrooms. My teenagers and I use these whenever we have a blemish that we want healed pronto. I HIGHLY recommend them. I have tried several brands throughout the last few years and Hero is definitely my favorite brand. It works the best on my skin, as well as my kids’.
OWYN Chocolate Protein Shake
I have tried so many protein shakes and this is my favorite pre-mixed shake. Creamy, vegan without all the sugars and fillers of other protein shakes, this is my favorite grab and go.
Earth Chimp Protein Powder
I’ve tried a lot of protein powders and this is one of my favorites. I tend to bounce back between this, Truvani and Orgain. I personally prefer the ingredients of Earth Chimp and Truvani more, but Orgain is still a good budget friendlier protein powder in my opinion.
Truvani Plant Based Protein
I’m not sure there’s a cleaner vegan protein on the market. Pricier than some other proteins, it’s because Truvani does not skimp out on the taste, nutrition, or texture. Vani Hari, co-founder of Truvani and creator behind Food Babe, has been a voice for ingredient transparency for years.
Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant: Charcoal and Magnesium
Native, Lume, homemade, Schmidt’s, even crystals…If it’s been made, I’ve probably tried it. This particular formula of Schmidt’s: Charcoal and Magnesium works so well for my body- even in the summertime in Florida!
Gray Faux Stone Bird Bath
This bird bath is light, easy to clean and the birds & butterflies love it. This was actually a random purchase one day after really wanting a bird bath and I’m so glad I got it! My kids, cats and I love watching the wildlife come to bathe & drink from it. I filled the base and pole with fine sand and then it comes with stakes for the ground as well.
Solar Powered Fountain
This is a solar powdered fountain for your bird bath or pond. It works really well, but needs direct sun and enough water in the bird bath. It definitely adds a bit of pizazz to our bird bath and for $9.99 it’s hard to beat!
Season of the Witch: Mabon Oracle
With Mabon officially starting tomorrow (Hello Fall Equinox!), treat yourself to a new oracle deck of the season. Lorraine Anderson and Juliet Diaz have an oracle series for each of the seasons and they are a few of my favorite decks. To all my fellow oracle and tarot readers, she has a deck interview in the beginning of the booklet that I highly recommend you do with all your decks. It’s really fascinating
